Hej! Welcome to my blog.

I am a Swedish-speaking Finn from just outside of the town of Borgå/Porvoo in southern Finland. I’m in my mid 40s and work for a large multinational company. I am married and have 2 kids, both now at university.

This blog will be a place where I air my views on the events of the day, predominately those in Finland – but also those global happenings that effect us all. As a Swedish-speaking Finn, this blog will also often focus on happenings within Svenskfinland – the Swedish-speaking Finland.

Rigorous debate is very welcome, do comment my entries, challenge my views! However, irrelevant remarks that go widely off-topic will not be tolerated, particularly if they contain hate speech.
